We are looking for an experienced and highly creative Interior Designer to join our team and work on some of the world’s most ambitious superyacht projects.
THE ROLE
Creative Development
Develop original interior concepts and design directions across multiple projects, encompassing spatial design, loose and built-in furniture, bespoke materials and finishes, styling, decoration, FF&E and art.
Visual Communication
Translate ideas into compelling visual narratives through sketches, drawings, floor plans, reference imagery and mood, style and material boards. Present your ideas clearly to the Design Director and project team.
Interior Design & Detail
Develop and refine interiors in which aesthetics, functionality, proportion and detail come together, from architectural elements and furniture to furnishings, FF&E and artwork.
Presentation & Documentation
Create project presentations and clear creative briefings for our CGI artists. Curate material samples and maintain oversight of specifications, lists and schedules throughout the design process.
Collaboration
Work closely with the Design Director, senior designers, CGI artists and design engineers, taking ownership of your work within a multidisciplinary team.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a design talent with a demonstrable ability to create distinctive, sophisticated and fully bespoke interiors, supported by an exceptional recent portfolio. You have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the accuracy and attention to detail required for demanding custom projects. You are fully proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD, have strong MS Office skills and are fluent in English. You are available full-time (40 hours per week), open to international travel and living in, or willing to relocate to, the Netherlands.
WHAT WE OFFER
You will work on extraordinary projects at a scale rarely encountered in interior design: fully bespoke environments developed from the first idea to the finest detail, with the freedom to explore new ideas and create solutions specifically for each yacht and its owner.
